Participants
Sponsors
Registered Apprenticeship programs must have an employer-employee relationship in order to exist. Typically it is the employer organization that initiates the apprenticeship process by developing and registering the Standards of Apprenticeship with the Kansas Apprenticeship Council. This process makes the employer a Sponsor. The Sponsor and each participant will be notified by ECAAP when they have been approved for program participation and given guidance for the next steps.
Mentors
The sponsor must provide a qualified Mentor for each apprentice registered under their program. All new apprentices and mentors complete an application process and are approved and registered through the ECAAP office to participate in the program.
ApprenticeOnce the appropriate mentor has been identified for each Apprentice, the Apprentice needs to apply for the program.
Each
Apprentice must complete the appropriate application process and return the information to the ECAAP office.
