The second step starts with a look at the
ECAAP roles and requirements. If your center can meet the expectations listed, you are ready to contact an ECAAP Program Consultant and develop your center’s
Standards of Apprenticeship.
This document has three basic components:
- The HR Piece - the 22 standards as it will be applied to the center’s program
- The Work Process - outlines the on-the-job training that will be provided by the sponsor
- The Related Instruction Outline - illustrates the required supplemental instruction that will be obtained by each apprentice
Once the Standards of Apprentice have been developed, they must be approved and registered with the Kansas Apprenticeship Council. You will then be ready to start apprentices in your program!
